Your paradigm shift is grossly premature.

Predictions as to an event horizon are always uncertain. However, unless you’re predicting some sort of false flag (which is always at risk of being a conspiracy theory) I think the items I listed are far more likely than not.

As to the Russian/Putin issue, some left leaners are pragmatic enough to realize smoke doesn’t always mean fire. We believe in smoke machines, too…

When you play with fire, sometimes you get burned.

Yep…the right must realize they will be in the minority again? Damn you , Harry Reid!

The right lost nothing in this fight. If you look at the votes on people like Ginsburg, Kagan, and Sotomayor, it’s clear that filibustering a SCOTUS appointment was not something McConnell had in his weapons arsenal. If you have no intention of using a weapon, then giving it up doesn’t affect you.

The best part of the story is his desire to be unpredictable — He just became predictable!

Interesting theory. Not sure why it matters.
