I specifically stated that I agreed with you on the PROBLEM of automation and globalization shifting jobs, AND that there needed to be a coordinated solution driven by governmental policy shifts.
I simply pointed out that the solution that YOU were proposing wouldn’t work financially (thank you to Larry Couch for finishing the digging of your hole); and that there needed to be better, and more creative solutions.
Your pique is not centered around any disagreement between you and I vis a vis the PROBLEM; it is centered around the fact that you didn’t like it that your utopian pie in the sky solution doesn’t work. Mathematically. And nothing in that math says a word about anyone’s views on the upper income class.
The point is simple: you can take it ALL from them, and it doesn’t solve the problem.
