Yep. The US status quo is neoconservative from a foreign policy standpoint, corporatist from an economic standpoint, and right of center from a social justice standpoint.

If you’re liberal, the only place you disagree is that you’re left of center from a social justice standpoint.

In my view, we need to start using these terms properly if we want to be understood.

Another one: If “alt-right” is a term for the conservative wing which is racist and xenophobic, then it should not be used for conservatives who are not neoconservative on foreign policy issues, nor for social conservatives, nor for those whose economics are more laissez-faire than corporatist.

Of course, in both cases, the media has an agenda too, and their agenda is served by conflating the terminology.
