Yep.

The Empire was never going to run Sanders in the general. His chances were always close to zero; his only path forward was to win enough delegates in the first round.

So, the quandry for the Dems was how to railroad him without pissing off his supporters, because without his supporters, Trump wins easy.

South Carolina gave them the opening. With closed door promises made to Buttegeig and Klobuchar about how their futures would be so much brighter if they do what they are told….Biden suddenly became a juggernaut.

And don’t rule out the possibility that Warren was told to stay IN the race, to split the progressive vote. Warren’s dilemma is pretty simple: toe the party line, or face somebody named Kennedy in her next election.

Now, Warren is out — — she’ll either stay silent or endorse Biden.

Good times. :-)
