What would be the point of covering up something that never happened? :-)

A girl was raped. That seems evident at this point. I think we can logically assume that she had a parent who was upset about it, and if the parent felt the district was not moving expiditiously, anger is not a surprising reaction. AND, the event occurred some months ago.

It is perfectly reasonable to ask "Why did everything move so slowly?" AND IF the perp was a genderfluid student using that identification to access the scene of the rape, to consider the possibility that ideology regarding trans issues affected the school districts reaction.
