Well, there you go.
In the countries I am familiar with (and there are several with universal programs, a few even single payer, although that’s one of the least popular options in the world right now) doctors, nurses, and other providers, make SUBSTANTIALLY LESS than they do in the US. (I have a nephew who is an MD in Sweden. Suffice to say that if you’re an MD in Sweden, you don’t expect to be an upper class wage earner.)
When the “nurses” start posting missives saying they want single payer so bad they’re willing to take a 40% pay cut to get it……then I’ll listen.
