Well, the list was predictable.
- I don’t fully understand DeVos’ changes on special needs guidance. I do know I have personal Facebook friends who are wigging about it as well, which is why I asked her WHY DeVos changed the guidance. There was of course no answer to the question, because the OP hadn’t thought at all about it other than personal impact (of which as of today there has been precisely zero impact) and rationalized it all away with “she’s evil.”
- Anyone who thinks student loan forgiveness without, say, compensatory labor (example: a vet student can discharge some or part of their student loans by working in various government programs) is a good idea slept through Econ 101. They’re thinking only of the students and not a whit about the taxpayers or the broader economy, or even the broader problem, which is school tuitions which are irrationally high.
- When you start to bring up transgender bathrooms …….. sorry, there are so many things going on right now I can’t get overly agitated about .5% of the population who ARE STILL protected under general school anti-bullying guidelines, regardless of anything DeVos does or doesn’t do.
