Well, that's all well and good, but sort of avoids my actual question, which didn't involve anything about any "outrage industries."

To wit: Did ANY of the videos or other evidentiary material vis a vis the confrontation display anything a reasonable person would define as a "mistake" or even "immaturity"?

As far as I am aware, he was fully cleared of any sort of bad behavior, and the media got an expensive lesson on a lot of things they already should have known, specifically (a) a still 2D picture is limited in what information it conveys, and (b) if you're going to put a judgement on an extended interaction between two people and/or groups, you better damn well have full context of the interaction.
