Except there are a ton more dudes at these conferences. Because it’s specifically tech, and tech is overrun with dudes. And it can be alienating. A man at a conference all by himself surrounded by women would most likely feel alienated as well. I am also in tech and you are not.
Well, I’m in tech, although I don’t know what that has to do with it. At any rate, I’m pretty used to these tech sessions where maybe 5% of the attendees are women. The ratios don’t bother me and never have. What DOES bother me that after almost 40 years in tech, the ratio of women has at best stayed the same; however, I expect that it’s gotten even worse over the last 15 years or so.
You seem far more offended and threatened by feminists than I could imagine possible.
Well, I think that any movement that advances Marxist goals and demands that society be reordered away from its natural evolutionary path should be offensive to anyone.
Why isn’t it offensive to you? Seriously now, do you really think that (for example) a woman who prefers to marry and raise a parcel of kidlets should be shamed for that choice?
