Bernie knows how to fight against Trump. Hillary did not.

Well, if that means that Bernie in many ways sounds and acts like Trump, I’d agree. Both are hyperbolic and come across as Angry Old White Men, which they are.

The difference is in who they are attempting to attract. Trump is easily able to sell his “the Democrats care about more about gays/illegals/racialminorities than they care about you” schtick because its actually true. :-)

CUB’s electoral hopes, OTOH, depends on being able to sell America on the basic idea that the “enemy” is actually the people who signs their paychecks. This is a hard sell to the majority of Americans, who realize that rich people and large corporations are not their enemies, and the fact that a person is rich does not make another person poor.

It actually wasn’t the attacks against Hillary that caused her loss, it was her response to them.

Interesting theory. It appears that you believe that in order to beat the current asshole, the candidate themselves needs to be an asshole.

So, if we have to have a president who is an asshole, why not just keep the one we have? :-)

Also, Trump DID spend to attack Bernie, how else would you know he is “Crazy Bernie”?

Because he self-identifies as a socialist, and only crazy people subscribe to a system of governance with a 100% track record of failure.

Not seeing the connection, there. Both RNC and DNC spent yes, about the same amount painting their opponent as unelectable. Bernie skated under the radar, so his policy inconsistencies, lack of legislative accomplishments, and nonsensical views on economics were allowed to pass through largely uncommented on, because Hilly knew the DNC had the fix in as far as she was concerned. And there was no need for the RNC to take potshots at a failed candidate.
