And although true, a quick eyeball at the per capita testing chart shows that there is no correlation between testing and lessening the severity that the virus has struck any particular country.

Some seem to be blaming a lack of testing for the impact the virus has had on us. The data doesn’t bear that out. Japan has a much lower mortality rate than we do and has done very little testing; Belgium’s mortality rate is almost triple ours, and they lead us in testing.
