Everyone knows all that. Germany had moved from economic shambles to a well-oiled manufacturing machine under Hitler. That’s a characteristic of authoritarian control over business, they can change economic trajectories rather quickly, since they don’t have to bother with the messy details of democracy. Obviously, industrialists all over the world were impressed and wanted to ride that gravy train to a quick buck. Nothing new there.
