nd no I don’t respect people that support bigots like trump.

Trump’s supporters, and in my view people who actually read what he says rather than what the media says he says, believe that accusation to be false.

For one example, being a Muslim, I am very interested in what he says about Muslims. I have yet to find a quote of his that makes me believe he is “anti-Muslim”, but people keep telling me that he is for sure, no doubt.

Obama may have misspoke, or spoken inpolitely but it was a one time thing.

Yes, it’s always a one time thing when it’s “your guy”.

Clinton was reacting to the alt-right and the white nationalists that are the prime supporters of the madman in office right now. I don’t respect them either….and agree with Clinton summarization.

No, she wasn’t. She was issuing a blanket condemnation of “half his supporters”, using her own words. The number of people in this country who are “white nationalists” (e.g., overt bigots) isn’t anywhere close to that level, based on polls like the General Social Survey. But she was among friends and decided to feed red meat to the crowd. If you believe that, more fool you.

She shot from the hip and lost. Thankfully. In an election as close as 2016, it’s very possible that it were those words that lost her the election, because people don;t like to be painted as bigots when they’re not.
