Totally agree with you. This is why we had so many people dragging their feet saying “it’s not as bad as the flu”. You say “exponential growth” to them and their eyes glaze over.
Stats, in my view, should be a requirement for anyone to call themselves “educated.”
All we can do at this moment in time with those numbers is say “as of this moment, our health care system is performing well against the worldwide benchmark.” Obviously, if a couple of large cities becomes tapped out and have to triage, today’s metric can reverse and go south in a hurry.
