To be honest, having had my head in educational stats my whole life (I come from a teaching family, and have done five years in the classroom myself) this woman’s essay terrified me, because it virtually guarantees, if “racism” is settled on as the problem, that the undereducation of low income students will be perpetuated going on into the future.
