“Instead it will be Donald Trump, an authoritarian demagogue who is in thrall to a league of white nationalists.”

This is simply wrong. It’s a self-serving, heavily biased interpretation of events clearly designed to insure that “ThinkProgress” continues to have readership (relevance is probably too much to hope for) in an era when voters have moved on from social justice issues (having already solved almost all matters of inequity worth solving) and (shockingly, in the affluent US of A) onto problems which…..we never thought we’d have to deal with again, those being problems of the pocketbook.

The data is conclusive; hundreds, if not thousands, of precincts that voted for a black president in 08 and 12 voted for Donald Trump. Trying to argue now that those voters are “white nationalists” is weak tea. It’s even weaker to attempt to connect the dots between Trump and “being in thrall” to ANYONE, in particular a “white nationalist” movement which historically only draws the same 200 malcontents to their national seminar each year.

Trump provides his critics no shortage of legitimate things to criticize. You have no need to make things up. So don’t.
