I would also suggest more emphasis on the actualization of racism, which are discriminatory practices. Education is good at changing behaviors; not so good at changing attitudes. A more pragmatic approach, then, might be to focus in on specific laws, policies, traditions, and behaviors which disavail minorities, and focus less on more abstract attitudes.
