There’s about 1% of the population who understands it. Even the journalists covering it don’t understand it. Hence the confusion. And the impossibility of making sweeping comparisons to something that everyone DOES understand, that being Social Security.

Hm. Even among the people who say they care about this, where do you think it comes in on their list of priorities? In front of jobs? More important than abortion rights? How about gun control?

Here’s reality: In a week, nobody is going to give a shit, especially when they realize that next election day……nothing’s changed about their internet service that they can’t deal with.
