The Louisville Mayor is proposing what I beleive is the only correct solution to his city council.
That is to MOVE the city’s confederate monuments into a historical park, where their stories can be placed into a “Never Again” historical context.
The problem with the monuments is that standing alone, they tell only one side of the story. By placing them together with the entire story and saga of the Civil War, you can continue to remember the men but also remember the horrendous cause that they defended.
The censorship of history should never be suggested nor defended.
