We’ve already reached 1.5 degrees

The IPCC projections are .2 per decade, as quoted. That’s simply a fact.

and some predictions have us reaching 6 degree heating by the end of the century.

Did you take any stats? Guess not.

The authoritative source, the IPCC, says .2 per decade, which is 1.6 degrees by the end of the century. HOWEVER, you also want to discuss the possibility that 6 degrees by the end of the century is possible. That’s almost QUADRUPLE the ICC estimate.

It appears that you have no idea how that statement looks to a mathematician, statistician, or scientist. The second sentence completely destroys the credibility of the first. If the best projection is 1.6 degrees, but you claim 6 degrees is credibly possible, then the only possible conclusion that an intelligent person can draw is that nobody knows what the fuck is going to happen, period. The standard deviation is flat out too huge.

It’s kind of like an election poll that says that it is absolutely sure that Candidate A is leading 51%-49%……plus or minus 40%.” :-)

This kind of denialism is dangerous, and will lead to the suffering of billions if left unchecked.

Or…not. Mathematics isn’t denialism just because the results of the equation aren’t what you want them to be.

Stick to the science. Don’t guess, don’t speculate.
