The idea here I find interesting is an average childbearing rate of 7………. the world has never seen an average childbearing rate that high, I wouldn’t think…..with infant/child mortality as low as we have today. I think there’s a NET 7 children in places like Yemen (where women might have 7 surviving children in 12 confinements)… maybe the population growth in a country with live birth rates that high provides some insight?
