1. The ACA is dead. Even if you’re one of the few remaining holdouts that believes it could have survived on its own, it doesn’t matter. The GOP to a substantial extent just won an election by promising to kill it.
  2. So now, the question is “what will the replacement look like?”. Shooting holes in every idea (and the motivations BEHIND every idea) that’s floated to replace it is unproductive. It’s a bit like criticizing your new boyfriend because you think the one that dumped you at the altar was so much better. He’s gone. Move on.
  3. So, pick a replacement idea and get behind it. Single payer isn’t an option. Everything else is.
