That’s an angry comparison.

Fair enough. To be sure, socialists make me angry. Because as an economic philosophy, what they’re peddling is fairness (an easy sell, of course; it’s easy to get people to blame or hate the rich man) but not telling the rubes that the aggregate standard of living in the economy will decline as a consequence.

Sort of a nasty bait-and-switch, if you think about it.

But, logically, the intent of the perpetrator is not all that germane to the action, in a legal sense. “But your honor, I didn’t mean to kill him” might get you off of murder and on to manslaughter, but you’re still going to jail. It doesn’t let you walk out the courthouse door.

Free markets, free minds. Question all narratives. If you think one political party is right and the other party is evil, the problem with our politics is you.
