That doing such is a problem we would probably agree. One simply wonders what, in the y2K world, distinguishes the USA from the Weimer Republic, and when history decides to catch up.

But the lager point here is that the sum total of all welfare in the US, if allotted equally, does not come close to being a “living wage” (in that a “living wage” has been defined, by some, as $15/hr.)
