Sure you will. Here’s why:
It’s been noted for decades that the “energy” of Democrat campaigns, meaning the office volunteers, the door-knockers, the drive you to the polls people, and the entire vaunted democrat “ground game” comes from the younger, more left-leaning members of the party.
Well, that worked fine as long as the youth were willing to co-operate with the process, and vote for the establishment candidate as the ‘better alternative” to what the GOP were offering.
Well, that model sort of fell apart in 2012; and it fell apart with the GOP running the most noxious candidate in, well, forever.
So, you will eventually realize that just cussing at them won’t work, and you’ll have to make a deal. Because the realities on the ground will tell you that if you DON’T make the deal, you’ll get creamed.
It’s easy to be all idealistic in the first two years after an election. Not so easy during the campaign season.
