We think all people should get decent care regardless of their income. That means we have to have a basic minimum available to everyone, and people shouldn’t have to pay more for it than they can afford. There’s a name for this system: single payer.

Single payer is only one way to get there. Let’s not be intellectually dishonest and pretend it’s the only way, shall we?
