Regarding Acosta: If the President (or President-elect) chooses not to call on a journalist during a press conference, does that justify yelling at the President or President-elect?

There are a lot of people who are shocked….SHOCKED!!!…at how Trump violates (among other things) standard rules of decorum, particularly on Twitter.

Let’s not forget there are rules of decorum for others as well. You cannot claim that you “respect the office of the President” and then by your action, not respect the individual who holds it. When you are back in your cubicle, you are free to write what you like, in accordance with the rules of journalism, which give you wide latitude to criticize as much as you like. But in the presence of the President, breaking the rules of decorum has consequences.

Pax. Shalom. Saalam. Time to take a breath. Russia is messing with us, and the more we go at each other’s throats, the more they win.
