Quite right, and true of all social media. Anger increases engagement -- so, once their algorithm figures out what pisses you off, it throws that content in your face again and again and again.
Think about that for a moment. What's that mean?
It means that whatever issue pisses you off isn't really as bad a problem in (politics, government, economics, racism, sexism, mysogeny.....etc.) as you're being led to believe. And professional studies on a lot of these subjects consistently find that Americans are not as divided, and not as extreme, on most topics as it appears from cable news.
That's a good thing.
