There’s about zero chance that that occurred, especially considering that the Russians had no way of doing that. That’s the benefit of having a totally decentralized election system without national standards.
Manafort and Flynn are told that this is not a quid pro quo. That they have to do nothing or give the Russians anything for this service.
And when Trump miraculously wins the election Kislyak smiles and tells the administration “….be nice, or it could go the other way next time….”
Well, if the above is impossible, that one’s impossible, too.
Trump has been very nice to the Russians and Mr. Putin.
I don’t think he’s been nice to the Russians in the least.
