Precisely. This is why any governmental system that falls into the “socialist” zone of economic theory (which of course includes Germany’s National Socialism) eventually ends up sending individuals who do not cooperate to Siberia, if not putting a gun to their head. People are rational actors, and if the peaches at the clandestine market are cheaper than the ones in the government store, the government loses; and socialist governments don’t tolerate that well.

OTOH, in a capitalist society, you are free to be a socialist if you like. Form a commune, get rid of private property…..whatever. If you add up all the Plain and the aging hippy communities, probably a thousand or so “socialist paradises” in the US, not bothering anybody.

The problems only start when the socialists decide to be control freaks. :-)

Free markets, free minds. Question all narratives. If you think one political party is right and the other party is evil, the problem with our politics is you.
