Please stop perpetrating myths propagated without evidence by the biased media. You're a hair away from citing the National Enquirer as gospel truth.

"In a rational world the jury would have found Kyle Rittenhouse guilty on all five charges for the murder of two, attempted murder of another, and two for reckless endangerment. "

Heh. "In a rational world....." Funny, that.

Only the last five words of that sentence are correct, and if such a charge was offered, it's likely he would have been convicted of it. If only the prosecution was more competent.

"According to the Sun it’s possible he may have had connections to the far-right group Kenosha Guard militia ..."

Although the first four words of that sentence are sufficient to send any rational person into hysterics, there is no evidence of these "connections”. If there was, such would have been presented at trial; and in the social media connected world we live in, such evidence would have been found SOMEWHERE, either on public social media or on his personal phone or computer.

"it’s very likely he may have tried to taunt and agitate the crowd."

The prosecution attempted to make this case. They failed for lack of evidence.

"There is only the normalization that it’s now okay for teens with happy trigger fingers to automatically shoot then ask questions later. "

That is incorrect. What has been "normalized" is what has always been normalized; that an individual threatened with deadly force has the right to defend himself with deadly force.

Look, KR clearly made a lot of idiotic choices that night; entering a riot zone with a firearm being at the top of the list. But he didn't make any illegal choices. States perhaps need to firm up their laws a bit making it clear that a teen cannot carry a rifle within an incorporated jurisdiction. Perhaps they need also to sharpen their pencils on what constitutes reckless endangerment. There are a lot of lessons to be learned here.

But the right of self-defense is inviolate, and if politicians continue to order police to stand down and simply contain riots instead of stopping them, this will not be the last time a private citizen stands in to do what the police will not.

Free markets/free minds. Question all narratives. If you think one political party is perfect and the other party is evil, the problem with our politics is you.
