If you pay no taxes, umm, how do I say this politely? You have no right to speak on the matter of governance in a federal republic or democracy, neither of which we have.
Mitt Romney was accurate when he said that 47% of the population pays no federal income taxes. His statement lacked context — — a lot of those are retirees on fixed incomes — — but his numbers were accurate.
Are you taking the position that 47% of the US should have no say because they don’t pay taxes? And if so, how would that position differ from the “poll tax” which the Southern politicos used for decades to keep people of color away from the polls?
