I wish we didn’t have it at all. But the point is that it’s questionable to say that getting rid of it makes huge changes in the makeup on the House, due to the urban concentration issue.

I wouldn’t agree that we’re not in a position of strength. As you say, Russia is not a bunch of idiots — they know what the military capabilities of both nations is. However, the paper tiger comment, which is also true, is the mitigating factor in all this. Russia’s not trying to take over the US, after all; they’re just trying to create some chaos. And doing a nice job of it.
