You don’t understand. As long as the corporate public THINKS that a blockchain is (your words) “a tamper-proof repository not owned by anyone”, then they’ll spend megabucks with the major IT consutancies to set it up.
Which is what it’s real purpose is. :-)
And the IT consultancies need a new thing that doesn’t really work that they can make money off setting up, now that the Hadoop “thing” is kind of over. :-)
