The problem with yours and Rubio’s rationale regarding leaks for everything except pro-Trump information is there’s only one example.
It’s simply an observation. “Rationale” implies that there’s some sort of conclusion to be drawn. I didn’t make one, and neither did Mr. Rubio.
That example, Comey telling Trump he was not being investigated, was not a permanent state. Publicly admitting he wasn’t, at the time, could lead to the same mess that occurred when Lynch’s request forced Comey to go public on Hillary Clinton’s status, should evidence arise regarding indictable action. Comey clearly explained the dangers.
I agree with that, actually. I think one of the ignored aspects of this is that the Comey letters which the Dems were/are so upset about vis a vis Hilary were actually forced by the Lynch event.
