I’m an idealist, I suppose, but I continue to wait for the day that liberals and Democrats realize that supporting the Republicans on a change to the tax code (be it Fair or Flatter) eliminates the majority of the corporate influence they say they hate so much in our politics.

Europe’s already there. Their tax systems are less progressive, have fewer brackets, have far fewer deductions……and they have less income inequality and less corporate influence in their politics.
