So they cannot create currency. The mere fact that corporations can do stock shenanigans does not create currency, it only attempts to rearrange that company’s value within the currency in the system.

If you’re the recipient of the shares, you see it differently. :-)

And as a general rule, small dilutions of stock destined for compensatory purposes, in my experience, tend not to affect the share price. If the share price is not affected, then it’s free money. However, it would take a lot more number crunching than I care to do to prove that point.

where would you presume should be the place within the economy to recover the cost of running government? You have already stated that it should not be business.
