When we live in a society where kids in 5th grade and below calls girls who rejected them whores I think it’s safe to say we live in a rape culture and that’s precisely the right title for it.

If you believe that’s the pervasive and overriding culture in the land, then I’d agree with you. However, I believe that any in depth study of the matter would show that such behavior is the exception rather than the rule, and limited to certain socioeconomic subgroups.

If men are then feeling attacked and decide not to do anything about it then nothing changes and they will be remembered as they are.

That statement assumes that your POV on the matter is correct and everyone else’s is wrong. I would point out the obvious to you, that the reason they “decide to do nothing about it” is because the problem is so limited in scope that there’s nothing that can reasonably be done.
