The problem is that he missed the point.
I’d argue it’s even worse than that. He says CLEARLY that he believes that the acceptance of “gender is a social construct” to be key to acceptance to transpeople in general, which is false, prima facie. Why? Because that’s a social more, not a law; and what he really wants, I hope, bburied in all that spaghetti-code of attempted rationalizations, is equal treatment under the law.
Which, in the vast majority of situations, he already has.
I am not going to speculate on what I believe he REALLY wants, but it’s unsaid, I suspect.
