So you think that hardening schools as targets is sufficient substitute for gun control measures like, oh, I don’t know, wider more mandatory background checks and age limits on purchases of assault style rifles?
I think hardening schools would far more successful than the measures you mention. I wouldn’t have any quibble with those sorts of control measures; I just don’t think they would move the needle.
(And is any business coup a good thing?)
