I recall a “joke” (quotes because it was actually stating a truism) I heard some years ago:

A good looking man is walking down the street. He sees an attractive woman, goes up to her, chats her up a bit, they get a little flirtatious with each other, then pulls a wad of hundred dollar bills out of his pocket and says “Would you go to bed with me for this much money?”

She bats her eyes and says “sure”!

He then returns the wad to his pocket, reaches into his OTHER pocket, and pulls out a few coins, and says to her “would you go to be with me for THIS much money.”

She stares at him coldly, and says indignantly, “What kind of girl do you think I am?”

He replies “We’ve already established what kind of girl you are, we’re just negotiating the price.”
