That you conflate automatic weapon and machine gun indicates that you do not understand what distinguishes the various classes of firearms. This makes it hard to take your ‘facts’ at face value.
I really don’t care what you do with them. If you want to believe that there’s a bloodthirsty cadre of Americans out there who are unmoved by dead children, then you’re welcome to your delusion.
Further, and as I’ve said before in the past, if anyone can show me, statistically and rationally, a proposal for a regulation that both (a) passes constitutional muster, and (b) will substantively decrease firearm deaths in the US, I’m all in. But nobody seems to be able to do that, as far as I’m been able to tell.
Is this referring to M60 style machine guns? Weapons that are designed for sustained automatic fire. Or does it refer to assault weapons with selectfire capability?
I’m referring to the class of arms regulated under the 1934 National Firearms Act.
