I read a bit ago that the reason this Ladies Who Lunch episode was so upsetting to the Rowling haters was simply that it shows that JK is Living Her Best Life, and there's not a damn thing they can do about it.

You can't get a billionaire canceled. And she has enough 40-something fans that whatever she writes will still be a best seller, not just at the frenetic pace of the Potter novels.

Seems like an accurate assessment.
