Thank you for proving that Christians cherry-pick from the Bible.

I never argued otherwise.

I didn’t say that they followed it exactly, just that American slavery was justified using the Bible. Your list doesn’t disprove that.

Well, let’s parse through the argument , then, since you seem to be shifting the goal posts a bit:

  1. During the Civil War, Southern Christian pastors argued that american slavery was justifiable on biblical grounds.
  2. The list I submitted clearly proves that they were wrong.
  3. Therefore, it cannot be (honestly) said that Christianity provided a basis for american slavery.

Simple, that.

You present no evidence that emotions aren’t real.

I never said they weren’t real, nor did I fully flesh out the thought, which is that it is difficult to prove the existence of emotions using the scientific method.

But anyways, you’re wasting my time with bad faith arguments.

How you choose to spend your time is entirely up to you.
