I find this comment odd.
It was not all that long ago that there was no such thing as early voting, and that absentee ballots were restricted to those overseas. Over the last few decades we have *tremendously* lowered those “entry barriers” you speak of.
And now, because the State decides that a few polling stations are unnecessary (before you scream “VOTER SUPRESSION!!!” you might first ask if the changes were caused by budgetary constraints or the simple lack of poll workers, which is most typically the case) the entry barriers are too high?
If a person thinks voting is important, they are able to vote. If they don’t…..well, that’s on the individual, not the State.
