People like you are why 5,000 Americans and a million Iraqis died in Iraq for spurious reasons. But I suppose as long as you personally aren’t affected by all that, right?
People like me? :-)
You mean Muslim Americans who oppose American military intervention in these situations where American interests are not directly threatened, who are anti-neocon in that I do not believe that our national interests require us to maintain worldwide hegemony, who oppose hardliners like Bolton and McCain, who have consistently opposed intervention in Syria (where I have relatives who are PERSONALLLY affected by US adventurism)?
Those people like me?
And, after all that, you’re accusing me of what? Classifying me with militant ya-hoos just because I see no problem in engaging in soft, nonmilitary efforts to bring some humanitarian relief to the Iranian people, who are stuck under a system of governance that went out in the Middle Ages?
Basically, you don’t know what the hell you’re taking about, and you clearly know nothing of me.
In fact, I believe that this is the first time that Caity and I have substantially disagreed on anything. But you were right there to jump on it, weren’t you?
