Hm.

Well, I don’t know who Schwartz is, but if I were to ever use a subjective term like “overdrive” to describe the economy, I wouldn’t do it because there was vigorous job growth alone, because that doesn’t tell you enough; I would use it if there was vigorous job growth AND high GDP growth simultaneously.

Obama had vigorous job growth, but not high GDP growth; Trump’s had both.

Now, I have no idea if that’ s what Schwartz was thinking, or if he was just being partisan. He wasn’t wrong, but when you use a term like that, it’s preferable if you tell people what you were thinking before you used it.
