Your notion that US interventionism will be limited to propaganda (a benefit of the doubt they are in no way entitled to IMO) is already invalidated by the additional sanctions and pressuring allies to cease trade with Iran.

First of all, I didn’t mean to imply that it would be LIMITED to propaganda; I have no issue with soft pressure like sanctions (although I wouldn’t disagree that they are not always as effective as the US neocons claim they are) levied in a unilateral or multilateral way.

However, as for the rest of it, that’s a bit of a slippery slope argument. If the facts on the ground change (meaning US weapons start to surreptitiously end up in Iran) I’ll be more than happy to change my position on the matter.
