Exactly; and his judicial record does not leave that in doubt. However, the Democrat senators spent much more time whining about the fact that they couldn’t have access to emails written when Kav had a political job for which he was not involved in decisions.

Bingo. Kagan had never been a judge, and outside of six (IIRC) cases argued as Solicitor General, had never seen the inside of a courtroom.

Interestingly, Kagan, when doing HER political job, had advocated that Clinton support a ban limiting certain abortion practices, and was criticized for her views on executive power (her views are similar to Kavanaughs on that matter.)
