Oxymoron. No such thing as “democratic socialism”. The only socialistic countries on the planet are authoritarian. Please don’t sully the discussion with “Denmark and Sweden”; both countries are rabidly capitalist, which is why the Danish Minister told Crazy Uncle Bernie to STFU when he kept referring to Denmark as “socialist”.

It’s ignoring bloody attacks on synagogues, black churches, ignoring swastikas, Nazi chants, Nazi tattoos, and ignoring that they brought guns to “a simple protest of a statue removal.”
You offer a false choice. One does not have to support violent vigilantism in order to oppose violence. What you propose, violent individuals taking the law (as they define it, not as the actual LAW defines it) into the own hands, is as contrary to American values as racism is.
